STEVEN TYLER Talks 'American Idol' At BOSTON COMMON Party (Video)

AEROSMITH frontman and "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler attended Boston Common magazine's summer bash this past Wednesday at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts. The rocker wore a Boston police motorcycle helmet and wailed, "I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack," on the red carpet. He even took time to serenade TV reporter Sara Underwood's baby bump with "I Don't Want to Miss A Thing".

Regarding "American Idol", Tyler told BostonHerlad.com, "It's been major separation anxiety. 'Idol' was quite intense this year, and I got so much pleasure out of being a part of it. They were all good before I met them, and they're even better now."

When asked what he missed while on hiatus, he said, "I miss Randy's [Jackson] humor, Jennifer's [Lopez] jokes, and Marc, her husband. I miss them all. We're one big family there, you know?"
